Highlights: ChatterBachs Product Review Week

Here are the highlights and links from the ChatterBachs Product Review Week:

Kicking off Product Review Week with CrowdVine: CrowdVine operates under the guiding principle that you can’t launch an empty social network and has what they call a “recipe” for successfully using CrowdVine at a conference.  Tony Stubblebine sees CrowdVine as a way to leverage the power of social media in the context of adding value to meetings by giving people opportunities to network.

Looking at Twitter followers with Tweepi: Do you want to find followers who are engaged and sending a lot of replies?  Are you looking for experts who are often retweeted by others?  Or, perhaps, you are searching for those who are most likely to follow back?  You can create almost any combination of these and other factors.  Tweepi gives a unique vantage point on Twitter.  Its ease of use and various ways to sort information are strong points.  So, if you’re searching for an effective way to refine your list of Twitter following/followers, Tweepi is a worth a look.

What is SocialMention and what is its value?: From the Social Mention “About” page:  “Social Mention is a social media search and analysis platform that aggregates user generated content from across the universe into a single stream of information.  It allows you to easily track and measure what people are saying about you, your company, a new product, or any topic across the web’s social media landscape in real-time. Social Mention monitors 100+ social media properties directly including: Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, YouTube, Digg, Google, etc.”

Understanding GistGist.  Perhaps you haven’t heard of it, but you will.  Gist in its basic form is a way to consolidate all of your contacts from email, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn into one place, thus creating a personalized web-based database.  I’m fascinated by the solution that Gist has developed and is continuing to develop to pull all contacts together into one place, and it’s definitely one to start using personally and professionally.

Sprout Social: A Social Media Management Mega-Tool: Sprout Social was created for small business owners to be able to use their time more efficiently.  There are a number of cool features with Sprout Social.  One of the coolest is the recurring message feature.  Sprout Social is loaded with statistics and graphs.  I like that is assigns engagement and influence scores.  You can also see Twitter followers/following on baseball card-style profiles.  Their name, Twitter name, followers/following, location, and bio are right there for ease of reference.
